We had to get ready for winter by flushing out the sprinkler system so that the pipes don't freeze and burst. Since Benjamin and Laura needed to do it together, little Miss Haley got to go with them. It is getting pretty cold outside and so she got bundled up. Here is where we put her down for a second in a pile of clean laundry that is waiting to be folded.
Here is Laura and Haley together out doing their job!
What a cute hat! So much fun!
This is one of her new outfits that she got from her great aunt Janet. Even though she is 3 1/2 months old, she is just starting to fit in her 0-3 month sided clothing. We love this little jumper. it makes her eyes pop because they are so big and brown.
Yet another new outfit. Laura put her in this onesie that says "sugar & spice & everything nice" with a white skirt and a pink sweater. When we were leaving, Laura asked Benjamin to pick out a pair of socks for Haley. This is what he chose. Why not?

Now we are in San Diego. We drove down on Tuesday and Wednesday. That was not as bad as we thought it would be. Definitely not anywhere near as bad as it could have been. So in this picture Haley is enjoying laying out in the warmth after being so bundled up just before we left.
Thanksgiving was wonderful. We had lots of food and spent time with Laura's family. Then the day after Thanksgiving, we went to pick out a Christmas tree for the Warner family(Laura's family). Here is Laura and Haley out with the trees...
Here is everyone (minus Benjamin who took the picture) out to look for Christmas trees. Haley, Laura, Andrea(sister), Mama Warner, Papa Warner, Rufus(dog) and Shannon(sister).
Once we chose the tree, they bring it over to the netting thingy to get it ready to bring home. Since we love Haley so much, we thought, "Let's bring her home too!'
What a pretty picture of Haley in front of the Pointsettias! San Diego is the number one producer of these beautiful flowers in the country. In fact about 99% of them come from here.
Our family in front of the flowers!
On Monday, Laura, Haley, and Andrea went to visit Pama, Laura's adopted Grandma. Here they are entertaining Haley. She absolutely loved Pama. We think Haley knows spanish because Pama was speaking it and Haley was talking right back to her. She was smiling and laughing too. It was a nice day.

So that is all that we have for now. Just pictures but nothing super exciting. We are happy to have NOTHING to do in San Diego. A much needed vacation. Haley has been so fun to see grow and play. She met her Uncle Scott, Aunt Shannon, and Aunt Andrea for the first time. They really enjoyed meeting her. She is so sweet and she is so good at bringing a smile to everyone around her. It is as if she is growing right before our eyes. She "talks" a lot more and laughs more often.
We thought that today we would leave you with a picture of us before Miss Haley joined the picture. In fact, this is when we were still dating. This is the much missed van(kind of) that Benjamin escorted Laura around in while dating and the first part of our marriage.

Cute Thomas family!!! Man we miss you guys! I've been wanting to call you for weeks now, but life has been so busy. And I wanted to call this last week but I knew that you were in San Diego for a couple of weeks. So, yeah. You're family is so cute! Yay for you guys!
Looks like you had a great visit with your family. It is so funny to see you looking for a Christmas tree with a short sleeved shirt on and no coat. That would be a great adventure. Haley looks like she had a great time!

sounds like you had lots of fun in warm San Diego. We also wanted a little warmth so we spent thanksgiving in St. George. What a cute baby you have. It's fun to see some updated pictures of her.
